BOA SCARF for 18” DOLL





Specialty yarn (I used Yarn Bee Playful)
Knitting Needles size 11



Cast on 4 stitches (You can make any size boa you want by increasing the cast on stitches. If you want to make an adult size, cast on 10-15 stitches)



Knit stitch only (no purl)



Knit until piece measures 20-21” long (keep going if you are making an adult size or a different size boa)



End off and weave in ends.



Finished size is approximately 1” x 20”

KNITTED HEADBAND/EAR WARMER







Homespun yarn 1.5 – 2oz.
Size 11 needles



Cast on 12 stitches



Knit stitch only (no purl)



Knit until it measures approximately 17-18” long. (it will stretch to about 21” – for a medium size adult head)



Sew the 2 short ends together.



Weave in the ends.



Finished!

COWL for 18" DOLL




G hook (use H hook for beginning chain)
Any yarn – small amount (scrap yarn)



With H hook, chain 8. Switch to G hook.
Row 1: sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each ch across. Turn.








Row 2: Ch4, skip first sc, dc in next sc, ch1, skip next sc, dc in next sc, ch 1, dc in last sc. Turn.



Row 3: Ch4, skip first ch1 space, dc in next dc, ch1, skip ch1, dc in next dc, ch1, dc in 3rd chain of ch4. Turn.



Row 4: repeat until 25-26” long.



Once piece measures 25-26” long, leave along tail and fasten off.



Connect one end to the other (make sure you don’t twist it).


Weave in the ends.







FINISHED!

WAFFLE STITCH HEADBAND/EAR WARMER


I hook (use J hook for beginning chain)
4 ply yarn

Ch = chain
SC = single crochet
DC = double crochet
FPDC = front post double crochet

Adult Large size – chain 72
Adult Medium size – chain 69
Adult Small size – chain 66

(to adjust sizes, increase or decrease in multiples of 3)


With J hook, chain 66 (small size). Change to I hook and join, being careful not to twist chain.

Bottom border: CH 1 and sc in each ch (66 sc)



Row 1: Ch 3 (this is your first stitch). DC in each sc around (total stitches equal 66) Join to beginning Ch3. Turn.









Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first st). DC in next st, *FPDC around next st, DC in next 2 sts. * Repeat * to * till the end. Turn.






The wrong side (inside) of headband.

Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as first st). *DC in next st, FPDC around next 2 sts*. Repeat * to * to the end. Turn.





The right side of headband.





Row 4: Ch 3 (counts as first st). DC in next st, *FPDC around next st, DC in next 2 sts*. Repeat * to * till the end. Turn.





(repeat rows 3&4 to make headband to desired width - end with a row 4).





Top border: ch1 and SC in each stitch around. Join to beginning ch1. Fasten off and weave in ends.

FINISHED!
